ANTHROPOLOGY LABORATORY
The anthropology laboratory is designed to the same standards as
the rest of the autopsy spaces, including easy cleaning impervious
surfaces and an overhead skylight. This room is primarily used for
the preparation and examination of skeletal remains. This could
include either the recovery of skeletal remains from a scene or
skeletal evidence obtained during an autopsy. Instruction in anthropologic
techniques and findings can be performed in this laboratory. This
room also provides an isolated space where examination and recovery
of trace evidence from bodies can be conducted.
