EVIDENCE DRYING ROOM

Adjacent to the main autopsy suite, the evidence drying room is an area where clothing or other evidence can be isolated and dried for later packaging. Evidence that is packaged while wet can degrade with loss of potentially valuable evidentiary materials. This room will also minimize the risk of cross-contamination of evidence between individual items or cases.
