TISSUE STORAGE ROOM

The tissue storage room is designed with a high-density storage system to maximize the available space. Tissue specimens from each autopsy are retained in a preservative solution. This provides the opportunity to microscopically review cases should the need arise. Also present in this room are refrigerator and freezer (minus 70° F) units to retain specimens in selected cases.
